Film Chattanooga is an initiative of the Chattanooga Film Society, a non-profit, grassroots organization started in 2009 to boost film production activity in Southeast Tennessee and to raise the professional standards for the film and television production community in the region. The founders recognized the growing trend of runaway production flooding to the region and wanted to be in the best position to make sure that this corner of the South is not overlooked.

Film Chattanooga is not a government agency, but we work hand-in-hand with local officials to assure the smoothest production experience possible. We will gladly assist your production in finding locations, securing crew, accommodations, dining recommendations, local services, etc. We have assembled a large network of business owners, government officials and production professionals who can assist you with every aspect of your production. DO NOT hesitate to contact us with your needs even if you are presently only in the budgeting or planning stages of your project.

We have accommodated a wide range of shoots including major Hollywood feature films, national TV commercials, travel and lifestyle programs, music videos and reality TV shows. The experienced production professionals and location scouts in our local network have a vast array of experience and we believe no shoot is too small to warrant our attention. We are eager to keep our excellent local crews busy and to help you keep your project on budget and on schedule. Our goal is to make your production experience as pleasant as possible.
